Continuing Education Credits

Continuing Education Requirements

  • Reference: S.C. Code of Regulations: 120-6

Continuing education should be obtained between April 1 through March 31 of the biennial renewal year. If a licensee renews during the grace period immediately following renewal, that is April of the new year, he may not use any portion of those credits for renewal in the coming renewal period.

Example: Renewal ends March 31, 2011. Licensee obtains some or all credits in April 2011. No portion of those credits may be applied toward renewal for the year ending March 31, 2013.
