Reciprocity/Endorsement

South Carolina does not share reciprocity with any other state.

South Carolina generally grants licensure by endorsement to applicants from another state if the applicant is currently certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and holds a current license in good standing in another state. Appropriate Board application forms and fees must be submitted.

For information on requirements in a particular state, contact that Board office. For a listing of all State Regulatory entities, check "Other Resources" via the Web site for the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT)
