Message To LLR Stakeholders About Regulatory Review Process

• In late April, two bills were filed in the State Legislature adding a broad exemption to licensure of engineers and surveyors based on the employer’s business. In response to the bills, the SC Board of Professional Engineers and Surveyors offered comments to the Senate and House Committees on Labor, Commerce and Industry and requested that the bills be taken up by legislative committees.

Attention LLR Customers
LLR encourages the use of its online licensing services to issue licenses as quickly as possible to our clients. Starting May 15, 2011, a $25 service fee will be instituted for licensing services done in person rather than online.
