Examinations
All South Carolina examinations are administered by PSI Examination Services. For an application package or information regarding testing, call PSI at (800) 733-9267, or visit the Web site @ www.psionline.com.You may also request an application package by sending an e-mail to SCCC@psionline.com.
The person designated to pass the exams for the licensee is called the exam qualifying party.
These classifications listed below require passing (1) a technical exam, (2) the Business Management/Law exam, both through PSI, and, (3) taking the S.C. Code of Law Take Home Exam, which is included in the application packet. The take home exam is submitted with the license application to the Contractors' Licensing Board after the exam qualifying party has passed the appropriate exams through PSI.
