As of July 1, 2006, the S.C. Board of Barber Examiners will no longer administer the registered, master haircare and instructor examinations. This includes reinstatements and the crossover examination from cosmetology to barber as well. The Board WILL continue to administer the shampooist and manicurist examinations.

The examinations are contracted to Professional Credential Service (PCS). Applicants need to contact them for applications and information pertaining to the examinations they administer.
