Building Accessibility Program

Program Purpose

The purpose of the Building Accessibility Program is to encourage and enable persons with disabilities to achieve maximum personal independence, to use and enjoy public and governmental buildings and to participate fully in society. The Program assists citizens and guests of the state by providing the necessary building codes and standards, to assure that buildings and structures are constructed and renovated to provide full access and use by disabled persons.
