Contractors Beware of Fraudulent Renewal Applications

It has come to the attention of the S.C. Contractors' Licensing Board that some contractors are receiving letters asking them to send their license renewal fees to DPR at an address in Kennesaw, Georgia. The S.C. Contractors' Licensing Board HAS NOT sent out renewal applications to its licensees.The letters being received from DPR are postmarked Tampa, St. Petersburg, Florida.

This has been reported to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.
